Jakub spent five years consulting for e-commerce companies across Europe, helping them go to market, build sales strategies, and scale their operations. Part of that work took him deep into marketplace commerce — advising platforms on how to build and grow their seller ecosystems from scratch. That gave him a rare perspective: how marketplaces actually work from the inside, and where serious sellers consistently leave performance on the table.

In 2022, he switched sides. Instead of advising marketplace operators, he started building for the sellers on them. The result is Merchantee — an agentic marketplace expert that executes sales actions on behalf of sellers across EU marketplaces, based on their strategy and rules, around the clock. Today Merchantee works with hundreds of sellers across six markets.
